INDHEAP Workshop: Session Titles Revealed!
March 4, 2026The INDHEAP Workshop is coming to Graz on 14 April 2026, and we are excited to share a first look at the full session lineup.
This half‑day workshop will bring together experts from the INDHEAP and SOLINDARITY consortia to explore the future of hybrid solar energy, thermal energy storage, and industrial decarbonisation. Held just before the 4th International Sustainable Energy Conference (ISEC 2026), the event will offer valuable insights into technological advancements and real‑world applications.
Workshop Sessions

1. Hybrid Solar Thermal Systems for Industrial Process Heat and Power: Overview
An introduction to the principles, integration concepts, and demonstration activities behind hybrid solar thermal solutions for industry.
2. Medium‑Temperature Heat Storage Technologies for Industry
A closer look at innovative mid‑temperature thermal storage concepts and technologies supporting flexible, decarbonised industrial heat supply.
3. Optimal Design of Hybrid Solar Thermal Systems for Industrial Process Heat & Power
Insights into methodologies, modelling tools, and guidelines for designing efficient hybrid systems tailored to industrial needs.
4. Panel Discussion: From Pilot to Scale
A dedicated discussion on the challenges, opportunities, and roadmap for scaling hybrid solar thermal systems from pilot implementations to broader industrial deployment.
5. Wrap‑up & Networking
A chance to exchange with project partners and workshop participants.
