INDHEAP at the ASTEP Final Webinar!
June 16, 2025On June 16, 2025, INDHEAP – represented by SINTEF Energy Research – participated in the ASTEP Final Webinar: Key Exploitable Results, an event showcasing the latest breakthroughs in solar thermal technologies for industrial applications.
During the session, we presented INDHEAP’s mission to develop hybrid solar thermal and photovoltaic (ST+PV) systems tailored for industrial use.
Our work focuses on:
- Designing integrated ST+PV systems and control strategies
- Developing flexible thermal energy storage (e-TES) using rock bed thermoclines
- Creating easy-to-integrate PV solutions
- Demonstrating real-world prototypes in industrial settings
- Exploring new business models for clean heat adoption
We were excited to engage with sister projects like SUELGAE, SUSHEAT, and HEATERNAL, all contributing to a shared vision of decarbonizing industry through solar innovation.
